Clinical Chemistry Department

Clinical chemistry’s laboratory performs a wide variety of tests in blood, urine, and other biological fluids such as synovial, pleural, semen, Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), ascetic, and fluid from pancreatic cysts.

The innovative state-of-the-art automation systems operating in our Clinical Chemistry Laboratory ensure speed, efficiency (700 laboratory tests per hour), and above all, reliability (possibility of labeling for further evaluation of improper samples).

Additionally, proper calibration followed by internal quality control, which is recorded through the specially designed Information System, ensures the excellent quality of the results.

Methods:

  • Clinical Chemistry Laboratory methods include:
  • Colorimetry
  • Enzyme kinetics
  • Ion-selective electrodes (ISE)
  • UV Method
  • Immunoturbidimetry
  • KIMS (Kinetic interaction of microparticles in a solution)
