Alpha Evresis Diagnostic Center is BIOIATRIKI Healthcare Group’s medical imaging part in Cyprus. It is a model of an integrated Imaging Diagnostic and Interventional Center with upgraded facilities, multiple state-of-the-art devices, and highly qualified medical and scientific personnel.

The first 3T MRI in Cyprus
The highlight of its quality upgrade was the installation of a new 3T Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), the first with Artificial Intelligence (AI). It is the first of its kind in Cyprus and Greece and only the third in Europe, which ensures:
– highly detailed imaging,
– comparative diagnosis via Artificial Intelligence and interconnection and comparison of results through international databases,
– more accurate results that aid the personal doctor for a more detailed diagnosis,
– reduced examination time and patient’s discomfort,
– implementation of new specialized examinations.
It is no coincidence that this MRI is chosen and used by the Cyprus’ universities as part of their participation in international research programs.
At the same time, the reduced examination time combined with the spacious cabin of the device, the low noise levels, the use of audio-visual relaxation aids and the experience of the staff, reduce claustrophobic feelings and create the often-stressful examination process easier and more enjoyable. This serves one of the main objectives of the Center about the maximum possible improvement of the experience of the patients.
Range of services & Certifications
The Center also offers specialized services, such as endoscopic ultrasound, liver elastography and comprehensive cardiac MRI. Maintaining the high-quality level of its services, ALPHA EVRESIS is constantly expanding the range of examinations it implements, such as body fat measurement using special software (DEXA), digital mammography with 3D Tomosynthesis, utilizing the latest technology and high-resolution devices.
