ALFA EVRESIS Diagnostic Center, member of BIOIATRIKI Healthcare Group in Cyprus, committed to continuously upgrading its services and holistically meeting the needs of the patients, added to its medical team another renowned Radiologist, Dr. Andreas Panagiotou.
Dr. Andreas Panagiotou, MD Radiologist, graduated the medical school of University of Birmingham, completed his specialization at London’s King’s College Hospital, and served in prestigious specialized university hospitals in both London and Birmingham. He has also been trained at the Royal North Orthopaedic Hospital and the Royal London Hospital on musculoskeletal oncology and pediatric radiology.
Dr. Panagiotou shows special interest and skills in arthrogram (MRI), hydrodistension of joints, and ultrasound-guided steroid injections into joints and soft tissues.
He has a rich academic record that includes international presentations and multiple publications in prestigious scientific journals, as well as co-authoring books. He also participates as a visited lecturer in musculoskeletal radiology academic programs and collaborates with university schools abroad.
He is a member of the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR) and the British Society of Skeletal Radiologists (BSSR) where he was member of the Board of Directors as a resident representative.
